Error description

  • Copy/Paste not working correctly when run from a macro. Some
    times it get data before the cursor, some times after.

    In one session the user runs the macro and answers the macro
    prompts, then after the data is entered then, macro outputs
    data to that initial screen and copies it to the clipboard.
    This is where it either grabs everything before the cursor or
    after (should always be after).

    On a second session, the user should be able to paste that
    copied output.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * Macros with (edit-copy) functionality may not correctly copy *
    * and paste the desired data when used with IBM Personal *
    * Communications.                                              *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    (edit-copy) Macro function copies the data from the selected
    trim rectangle. Sometimes this functionality may not work as
    expected due to the cursor not being set to the correct position
    prior to calling (edit-copy).

Problem conclusion

  • PCSECL.DLL code has been corrected to ensure that the cursor
    position is set prior to calling the (edit-copy) function.

    Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.17 Refresh Pack

Temporary fix
